Badges
earned: World Conservation,
Forestry, Conservation Service
and Ecology Patrol Challenge.
Some of the activities we did to
earn the badges are:
Gorse Clearing,
Sowing Native Seeds, Planting
Trees, Axe use (parts, safety,
care and use), Identifying Native
Trees, Uses of Different Woods,
Posters, Water Study, Anti litter
Campaign, T-Shirt Painting and
Weeds and How They Destroy Our
Bush.
Scouts
had to do individual activities
and present to the troop their
findings. Some of the things
were: naming our endangered
birds, erosion, floods and smog.
Things
coming up: Cooking Competition,
Day Tramp, Family Picnic, Tramp
and Car Group Rally.
Badges
to be gained: Bushcraft and
Technology.

Scouts
move up to Venturers at the
age of 14.
