| Welcome to
the Mornington Scouts Web Site! The Mornington
Scout Group was founded in 1910
and is now the oldest running
scout group in Dunedin.
The
group is made up of Kea Scouts,
Cub Scouts and the Venturer Unit.
Each section is run by warranted
volunteer leaders who are
dedicated to the future of the
children. All sections enjoy
activities such as camping,
sleepovers, tramps, games and
crafts.
The
emphasis is on FUN!
Our Den
is located at the corner of
Argyle Street and Glenpark Ave.
in Mornington, Dunedin. Community
and parents built the Den in the
late 1950's. The Den has a large
activity area, kitchen, office,
and store rooms. Across the road
is McLaren Park, named in honour
of a former Mornington
Scoutmaster killed in Greece in
1941.
